Learn to play is a fun skate, with puck, stick and full equipment to enjoy with your son/ daughter with NO organized drills or scheduled games. It's a great way to spend 45min with the little one with no distractions or other siblings. Even if you can't skate well (or at all) now is a good time to learn with them. In 2016/17 Alberta hockey said initiation kids needed to be 5 years old to play, so KMH started the Learn to play program. There are small nets, balls, bubbles and other equipment they can use to keep their attention while skating. We will request volunteers to skate with the kids if the parents are unavailable. This was done last year and was a great help.
The program is for children ages 3-4, or 5 year-olds who do not yet wish to join the full Initiation program.
We look forward to seeing you all out on the ice!!!
