Season Conclusion
Now that that the 2020/21 hockey season has come to an end, the KMH board has passed a motion for the following refund structure to address the abbreviated season.
1 - Players who chose NOT to return to play after the December 2020 shut down will receive a 40% refund of their 2020/21 registration fees.
2 - Players who DID return to play for the final skates in 2021 will receive a 25% refund of their 2020/21 registration fees.
Refund cheques will be issued as follows after April1, 2021.

This structure is based on the review of the association's registration and fundraising revenue, in comparison to the expenses such as ice fees, insurance, referees. clinics and other direct costs incurred despite the shortened season. Additional information on these amounts will be presented at our Spring AGM to be scheduled pending the latest COVID restrictions.
As an alternative to the rebates, we have received feedback from members who may not want to receive a refund. In these cases, the refund amounts that are not returned to the families will be donated back to the arena board to assist with the expenses associated with maintaining the ice throughout the shortened season. Families who DO NOT wish to receive their refunds, are asked to contact the Treasurer, Wade Holst at treasurer@kitscotyminorhockey.com before March 31, 2021.
